Tasting Notes
Intense violet color, pure and dense, delivering a tremendous core of crushed plum, white pepper and graphite notes. Offering amazing mouth feeling, with a firm base of tight-grained tannins, stunning density, purity and length, this wine just needs time to expand.
Winemaker’s Notes
The grapes were handpicked in extremely small, selected parcels (less than one bottle per plant) from high density vines in our Los Lingues Vineyard. Coming from parcels D2 for Carménère, E2 for Malbec, C4 for Cabernet Sauvignon, F1 for Syrah and C3 for Petit Verdot. Vinification is conducted in little tanks to get a gentle extraction of aromas, flavors and tannins. The wine was aged for 24 months in separate lots, and blended all together by gravity to a concrete egg tank, where AUMA was aged for another 9 months prior to bottling.
